It’s back to work today. This holiday season was one of the best I can remember. I got to spend a lot of good time with all of my family and had more than sufficient vacation time. The best part about it was seeing my 3-year old really get into and enjoy the season. Starting after Thanksgiving we began to involve her into our holiday traditions such as watching certain movies, eating certain foods etc. One of my favorite times was when my wife and I allowed her to join in our traditional New Year’s Eve foudue. Every year my wife and I have lived in our house (4 now I believe) we have eaten chocolate fondue to ring the in New Year (this year we also had cheese). It was great to have my daughter sit around the pot and enjoy it with us. Another great memory is her opening her gifts. Wow, I just don’t have words to express how awesome it was to see that look on her face.
This past Saturday we had her first big birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese. It was great and she had a blast.
